Player Development

Our basketball skills training curriculum is designed to develop well-rounded players by focusing on the essential skills, strategies, and physical conditioning that are required to excel on the court. Whether you’re just starting or seeking advanced training, our structured program will guide you toward your goals.

Skills Curriculum

  • Ball Handling: Master dribbling techniques, hand-eye coordination, and control under pressure.
  • Shooting: Improve shooting mechanics, accuracy, and shot selection, from free throws to three-pointers.
  • Finishing: Understand the art of scoring at the rim. Whether your perfecting layups, floaters, or advanced moves like steps & reverse finishes, we provide the tools you need to dominate the paint.
  • Passing: Enhance precision, timing, and decision-making for effective team play.
  • Triple Threat: Master the fundamental principles of the triple threat position (shoot, pass, & dribble) to keep your defenders guessing.
  • Defense: Learn positioning, on-ball and off-ball defense, and strategies to disrupt opponents.
  • Footwork: Build agility, speed, and proper foot positioning for offense and defense.

Game IQ & Strategy

  • Court Awareness: Understand spacing, movement, and reading the game.
  • Play Execution: Practice offensive and defensive sets, pick-and-rolls, and transitions.
  • Decision-Making: Develop quick thinking for high-pressure game situations.

Physical Conditioning

  • Strength Training: Build the physical endurance needed for intense game play.
  • Agility Drills: Improve speed, balance, and coordination.
  • Endurance Workouts: Enhance stamina for peak performance throughout the game.

  • Owner & Founder - Pro Skills Coach

    Xavier is a Del City High School graduate (2014) & played collegiate basketball at Fort Scott Community College in Kansas & Randall University in Moore, Oklahoma.

    During his time at Randall, Xavier has helped secure:

    • 3 Consecutive NCCAA National Titles
    • 2 NCCAA All-American Honors
    • 1 NCCAA National Tournament MVP
    • 2018 Bevo Francis Award Nomination (Top 100 Watch List)
    • Scored 1,400+ Career Points

    Xavier is USAB Youth Certified & currently serves Part-Time as a Youth Basketball Programs Associate for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
